Behind the Scenes Concert Photos with Performance Artist David Garibaldi

Performance artist, David Garibaldi, is based in Sacramento and has been a large part of the local event and charity scene over the past couple decades… and when I heard he was going to perform with Andrea Bocelli raising money for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, I kinda invited myself to do some photos for him behind the scenes and while on stage, lol! I made arrangement to be in Florida to visit a friend anyway, so also navigated a side trip to photograph the Andrea Bocelli concert Hard Rock Live in Hollywood FL (along with David and Chady’s engagement session in Miami, which you can find on my blog in PART 1 and PART 2).

For as many years as I’ve been photographer, I’ve only been able to shoot a handful of live music events and am excited to have the opportunity to do it more often in the coming years. After being an event photographer for other projects like weddings, festivals and conferences; concerts came pretty easy. Beautiful lighting, professional performers, amazing locations…. this is something I can get used to.

Because I kinda took to this project in 3 different sections, I thought I would share them in three different posts… this is one in particular is dedicated to what I documented behind the scenes specifically for David. It was over a course of two different shows, so I arranged the story line as if it were one.
