Lifestyle Portraits of David Garibaldi at Music Venue Hard Rock Live in Hollywood FL

While photographing performance painter David Garibaldi on tour with Andrea Bocelli December of 2023, we thought it would be kinda fun to have a portrait session at the music venue Hard Rock Live Hollywood Florida, where they were performing. Though I photograph events all the time, portraiture has become a strong skillset I have developed over the years from shooting weddings in particular, so being in an atmosphere with challenging lighting isn’t anything new to me. All I need is a small fill light for the face, and I’m good! My go to gear, as of late, has been the Westcott Rapid Box Beauty Dish to attach to my Profoto A1x, photographed using Canon R5 with the L Series 16-35 and Sigma ART 50 lenses.
