Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Miami Engagement Session with Chady + David

Part two of Chady + David’s engagement session took place at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami Florida. This location was definitely chosen with Chady in mind… Chady Dunmore is a two-time bikini world champion and top-fitness model whom has graced the covers Oxygen, Fitness RX, Modern Fitness and more. She has a select few she has been commissioned for personal training, but also has an online program for nutrition and exercise regimens, you can check it out via her link on her instagram. I have known her for over 20 years and have collaborated on multiple shoots honing in on my love for Vogue, Vanity Fair and everything Annie Leibovitz inspired, so naturally a location like the Vizcaya would be perfect for a shoot with that inspiration in mind. Chady as a model is a great mover, so the whole session was easy to just place her and David with light direction and let them interact with each other.

I actually found the Vizcaya Miami and Gardens years ago when Googling the Vizcaya Sacramento (probably looking up an Open House or email information), and this location came up. All the way on the other side of the country, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a waterfront estate National Historic Landmark built in 1916 with 32 decorated rooms and 10 acres of gardens. Many luxury weddings and events have been featured in prominent magazines including Martha Stewart Weddings, Vogue and Grace Ormond. You do need a photo permit to shoot in this location, so pre-planning is a must if you’d like to have a photo session here.  The following photos are just a fraction of the many locations within the gardens, next time I’ll have to venture inside the main house.
