Nicole + Scott’s Fantasy Garden Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia
Nicole and Scott's wedding was a truly magnificent affair, filled with unique and enchanting elements. The choice of the Four Seasons Hotel of Philadelphia as their wedding venue already set the stage for a luxurious and elegant celebration. It's wonderful that they were able to reunite many of the same wedding vendors used by the bride's sister, including the renowned event production and design wedding planners, Evantine Design.
The bride decided to create a different theme for her wedding compared to her sister's crystal chandelier black tie glamour. She opted for a fantasy garden ambiance, with cascading blooms adorning the dinner tables and a vibrant display of colorful lighting for dancing, accompanied by a 13-piece live band. A design choice that added a whimsical and romantic touch to the festivities.
Due to the windy day, the pre-ceremony photos were taken more indoors rather than outside the hotel. However, the various locations within steps of the venue, including the legendary glass rooftop restaurant on the top floor, provided a stunning backdrop for Nicole and Scott's wedding portraiture. The presence of a white Rolls-Royce, provided by the hotel, added a touch of classic elegance to their transportation, and we took the opportunity to capture a few photos with it.
The wedding day unfolded with a full mass wedding ceremony at the Arch Street Presbyterian Church, then guests entered the Comcast Center, located on the bottom floor of the Four Seasons building across the street from the church, for the winter garden-themed cocktail reception. The array of appetizers featured flavors from around the world, ranging from fresh shellfish at the ice-bar to made-to-order Asian noodles, Mexican delicacies, and Italian dishes. This ensured that guests had a diverse selection for their culinary experience.
Throughout the celebration, Evantine Design continued to impress with their attention to detail and luxury as we made our way to a reception that transported us to another world as if in a fairy tale. They were able to transform a relatively basic hotel banquet room into an enchanted forest consisting of HUGE floral trees as center pieces for every table, a soft mist throughout the room so the spotlights can be seen in the air, accented by gold plated seating and a custom dance floor with the bride and grooms initials.
Nicole and Scott's wedding was an unforgettable experience for all who attended, and will go down as one of my favorite events I have every captured. Be sure to view my album page to see how their wedding album design turned out!
