Becky + Logan’s Engagement Session at the Castello di Amorosa

Are you interested in having your engagement photos taken at a castle in Italy. Want to stay in California? Calistoga’s the Castello di Amorosa, located in Napa Valley, is a photographers dream for capturing beautiful portraiture. While it isn't open for weddings we can arrange for photo sessions on the castle grounds and enjoy a wine tasting in their exquisite ballroom.

Translated as "The Castle of Love" in Italian, this stunning architectural wonder is a 14th century Tuscan castle winery featuring towering walls, five defensive towers and sprawling vineyards across 30 acres. Constructed meticulously over 14 years by Dario Sattui (super random; he happens to be one of my soccer coach’s uncle) a fourth generation winemaker who drew inspiration from medieval castles in Italy and began building the Castello di Amorosa in 1994. Over time it expanded to encompass 136,000 feet with 107 unique rooms, mostly dedicated to winemaking and storage, including its own chapel! It's disappointing that weddings are not currently allowed at this enchanting venue… though, there might be opportunities down the road.
