High school senior photos... It feels like forever since I last did a session like this. This year I've had the chance to shoot quite a few of them and whats even better is that they're all for returning clients, some of whom I even photographed their weddings! Take Jaelin for example. Her parents tied the knot back in 2003! Although I didn't capture their wedding images I did retouch them ages ago when XSiGHT was still known as Masterpiece Photography and we operated from Folsom. Over the years I've had the opportunity to photograph their kids and work on an other exciting projects. It's just crazy that now it's time, for daughter #1s photo shoot. Haha!

Jaelin wanted her photos to have more of a city vibe so we thought it would be fun to start at Downtown Sacramentos Golden One Center. Unfortunately there was a concert happening at the time so we managed to snap a few shots there before heading over to Old Town Sacramento’s Pioneer Park and Tower Bridge for her second outfit. Naturally we also took some family pictures along the way before wrapping up our cityscape session on a rooftop to make the most of that lighting during blue hour.

As an added bonus, we were treated to a view of the sky adorned with a beautiful array of soft colored clouds capturing the remaining hint of pink as the summer sun dipped below the horizon. We couldn’t have chose a better day. :D
