Spring High School Senior Session in Downtown Sacramento + Rocklin

Last year, I had the pleasure of capturing Macy's high school senior session, which was filled with vibrant looks and stunning backdrops. We had two distinct styles that perfectly showcased her personality and the beauty of spring.

Casual Downtown Vibes

Our first stop was a lively downtown area where we embraced a fun and casual vibe. Macy rocked a pair of classic jeans paired with two different light-colored tops that were perfect for warming up in the lovely spring weather. The urban setting offered a dynamic backdrop, filled with textures and colors that complemented her youthful energy. It was all about capturing those candid moments of laughter and joy as we explored the charming streets.

Whimsical Rocklin Backdrop

Next, we headed to Rocklin for a more whimsical shoot overlooking the breathtaking Sacramento Valley. This location allowed us to switch gears and get a bit dreamy. Macy donned two flowy dresses that perfectly matched the serene landscape. The first was a short, pastel dress that exuded springtime charm, while the second was a simple, dark green maxi dress that harmonized beautifully with the rolling hills around us.

Timing was everything as we aimed for the sunset. The sky transformed into a canvas of colors, and the pastel hues complemented Macy’s spring dresses beautifully. It was a magical moment, capturing her against such a stunning backdrop.

The Cap and Gown Moments

Of course, no senior session would be complete without the traditional cap and gown shots! We made sure to capture these important looks in both locations, providing Macy with a range of styles to remember this significant milestone.
