Who doesn’t love and good love story?  Jeremy and Crystal’s wedding journey was detailed on their wedding website and I thought I’d share a glimpse of their courtship leading to walking down the aisle.

In March 2021, amidst the encouragement from their close friends and family to try out a dating app, both Crystal and Jeremy found themselves navigating the world of digital romance, as most of the modern world has come to especially during the pandemic years. They crossed paths on Hinge by exchanging a digital rose and engaging in delightful conversations that eventually led to their first date. A charming dinner in Sacramento became the backdrop for their great conversations and genuine laughter, extending well beyond five hours to the delight of everyone present.

Their story continued with a second meeting over brunch. Crystal captivated Jeremy's attention with stories about her homemade strawberry plum jam. But it was when Jeremy met Bonnie, a unique four legged companion with an extraordinary blend of German Shepherd, Blue Heeler and even a hint of donkey spirit, that his destiny became sealed. He wasn't just smitten with Crystal; he fell head over heels for Bonnie too – it was love at first sight.

Throughout the following years, Crystal, Jeremy and their beloved Bonnie embarked on unforgettable adventures together—a whirlwind of breathtaking escapades that created lasting memories.

Then came July 27th, 2022 – a date that coincided serendipitously with Jeremy's 42nd birthday. While Crystal believed she was organizing a surprise birthday celebration, Jeremy had secretly planned an engagement party that pleasantly surprised everyone. The moment Crystal joyfully exclaimed "Yes," her heart overflowing with happiness, marked the culmination of their joint efforts in planning an enchanting event that would forever be etched as one of the most magical chapters in their lives.

As January arrived in 2023, Crystal and Jeremy sent out "Save the Date" cards to announce their upcoming "Wild Berry Wedding." Amidst the excitement and preparations, fate had one more unexpected surprise in store for them. Just a week after sending out the cards, Crystal and Jeremy received life changing news; they were expecting a new addition to their family—a Baby Berry who would grace their lives come September 2023. This unexpected surprise brought an additional level of happiness and thrill to their already amazing adventure. 

The wedding itself was just as sentimental and full of love as their relationship leading up to the event, with an intimate ceremony taking place in the meadow alongside a river just behind their home. With the help of Sacramento renowned wedding coordinators, Curated by GW, Crystal and Jeremy’s sweet, simple backyard elopement turned into an experience that any Pinterest dreamer would find inspiration for their own outdoor ceremony. The reception venue also held it’s fair share of sentimental attachment being their local, favorite go-to hangout location of Shangra-La in Fair Oaks… dressed and accented with florals by The Blonde Bouquet and highlighted by an adorable dessert by Palette Cakes.
